Abdul K. Lindsay

Mr. Lindsay is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with the state of Georgia and a Certified Personal Trainer who has received a certificate of training in Adult Weight Management with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Additional current certifications include School Nutrition Director with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, ServSafe Certified with the National Restaurant Association, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Certified with the University of Georgia. 

Mr. Lindsay is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Georgia with the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition, Master’s in Food Science Technology, and Master of Education in Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development, respectively.

With over 31 years of professional experience, Mr. Lindsay currently serves as the School Nutrition Director of a local school system and as the President of Nutrition and Fitness Harmony, LLC. Professional experience includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Community Nutritionist within Florida and North Carolina health departments, health clinics, and/or community centers
  • Practicing clinical dietitian within various medical facilities, hospitals, skilled nursing homes, and/or assisted living facilities
  •  Chief of Georgia’s Public Health Nutrition and Women, Infants, Children Program
  • Director of various local school nutrition departments within local school systems

Mr. Lindsay considers his strengths as leadership, nutrition and fitness coaching, and facilitating organizational and professional development of businesses and clientele, respectively.

In his spare time, Mr. Lindsay enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 31 years and being active in living out his faith, engaging in wellness activities including physical activity, cooking, reading and learning, watching television, and learning anything Honda automotive.

Henrietta Lindsay

Henrietta Lindsay, LCSW, LICSW is dedicated to enhancing and/or restoring your life capacity for functioning in our community – one person at a time. She is a licensed clinical social worker (in GA, SC, and TX) who believes that seeking out therapy and support is a healthy, normal experience that all should embrace without hesitation or stigma. She current serves as the Vice-President of Nutrition & Fitness Harmony, LLC.

She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Multilingual/Multicultural Education and completed her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. She also currently serves as an online adjunct parttime faculty for an incredible MSW program. Having practiced in her early years in a community mental health outpatient unit, Henrietta became an expert in adult comprehensive psychological evaluations and crisis intervention. She later worked at the University of Georgia, Georgia Perimeter College and Georgia State University in the Disability Services Department counseling the adult population.

Her therapeutic approach is non-judgmental, client-centered and strengths-based. She seeks to form a collaborative, therapeutic relationship with clients, allowing them a safe space to explore and gain an understanding of obstacles to personal growth. She wants active participation from clients and believes that incorporating “common sense” with well-grounded research-informed practice produces the best results. She hopes to provide empathic support with a listening ear, an open heart, and provide feedback to ultimately empower clients to set realistic goals and make desired lasting changes.

  • What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? 

You will take away tools and techniques to help you process and work through symptoms that may be impeding growth in your personal, physical, emotional, psychological, professional, and spiritual areas of life. You will also gain or regain a renewed sense of your strengths and be empowered to face your situation with the help of a caring therapist.

  • What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

She specializes in Psychoeducation, Coping skills Training, Crisis Intervention, Solution-Focused, Empowerment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Process Therapy and Exposure Therapy with a particular emphasis on promoting and integrating holistic nutrition and fitness natural remedies (working with our Dietitian) to treat the whole person and to help you work through challenges you are facing in your life. 

Her biggest strength and preference are working with adults by joining in a mutually professional and therapeutic relationship creating a safe space for clients to increase their self-awareness

Henrietta, in her spare time enjoys inspiring others to be their best self, working out, going to the beach for meditation and enjoyment, reading books on different topics, cooking/fining new recipes, watching NBA with her husband of 31 years, and is actively engaged in church.
